The Asia Pacific Augustinian Novitiate (APAN) is a project of OSAAP – Order of Saint Augustine in the Asia Pacific. APAN gathers all the novices of the different circumscriptions of the Order in the region and aims for a better collaboration in the area of initial formation of candidates to the Order.
Blessed Thomas of Saint Augustine, a Japanese Augustinian friar who was ordained priest at the then Santo Niño Church (now the Basilica del Santo Niño) in the 17th century and who was martyred for the faith in his native country, is the Patron of APAN.
